Led by Ali Hannon, this six-week rolling course is for people who just want to show up and improvise. No showcase, no end goal or curriculum, just time to explore and play.
Following the tastes and skills of the group, you’ll spend each two-hour session improvising scenes and games, making connections with other players, and laughing. Gentle guidance is there if you want it, but the pace stays relaxed and easy. Performing in front of the class is optional.
In six-week blocks of slightly shorter sessions, Show Up and Play is designed to feel manageable and easy to fit into a busy week. It is suitable for those with social anxiety, chronic fatigue, or who have other reasons they would benefit from a more relaxed course.
Running alongside our core programme, this is a low-pressure space for those who have done some improv before to keep their improv going in a manageable, social, and enjoyable way. You can let us know about accommodations you have when booking, or drop us an email at hello@andalsoimprov.com. All information is treated in confidence. Some people may go from here onto one of our (numbered) courses, but there is no expectation.
