For the audience, it’s magic. For the performers, it feels like flying.

Songs appear from nowhere, scenes turn into choruses, and for a moment, you get to be in the (Zoom) room where it happens. Musical improv is all about listening, trust, and play.

This online musical improv drop-in is for anyone aged 18+, from musical improv newcomers to experienced players. You don’t need any musical improv experience, and you certainly don’t need to be able to sing. Our experienced teachers create a supportive, well-structured session that helps everyone sound great.

Working online gives us space to focus on confidence, musical structure, and connection without pressure. We’ll warm up together, explore simple song forms, and jump into scenes and songs.

Some improv experience is recommended. If you’re completely new to improv, why not try one of our free online taster sessions or take the plunge with an online beginner’s class?

Practical information
  • This is a live online session
  • A minimum of 6 participants is required to run the drop-in
  • If the session is cancelled, you’ll be notified at least 2 hours in advance and issued a full refund
  • Please arrive a couple of minutes before the session. Latecomers may not be admitted
